USDT and the network caveat

USDT is a dollar-pegged stablecoin. Its appeal is price stability: the balance you deposit today is worth the same tomorrow, which matters when a coin's price can swing between order and settlement.

The one thing that matters: the network

USDT exists on several networks. You must send on the same network the market's deposit address expects. Send on the wrong network and the funds may be unrecoverable. Confirm the network before you send, every time.

How it flows

  1. Choose USDT at deposit; the market issues an address on a specific network.
  2. From your own wallet, send on that exact network.
  3. Wait for confirmations; the balance credits.

Privacy note: stablecoin transfers are as transparent as the chain they ride on. USDT buys price stability, not privacy. For privacy, Monero is still the right tool.
