Bitcoin, when required

Some vendors still price in Bitcoin, so it remains useful, but its ledger is transparent: every payment is public and permanent. Treat it with more care than Monero.

Wallets

Use a wallet you control, such as Sparrow or Electrum, ideally configured to connect over Tor. Do not pay a market deposit address directly from an identity-verified exchange withdrawal.

Routing cleanly

  • Withdraw from an exchange to your own wallet first, then pay the market from there. This breaks the direct exchange-to-market link.
  • Use a fresh receiving address for change; do not consolidate everything into one reused address.
  • Where a vendor accepts either, prefer Monero for anything you want kept private.
A transparent chain never forgets. Assume any Bitcoin payment can be analysed later, and route accordingly.
